Whew! You made it!
We hope you like the look of our new site! Friend Curtis Robinson is responsible for the fresh look (see www.visionstudios.ca for a look at Curtis’ work.)
Chris spent a lot of the winter working on the back end of this site (and some of the front end) in an attempt to get our webstore up and running. We are almost there! He has been re-visiting memories of his former coding days and cursing a lot. The fine building weather has slowed him down but we hope to have the store on line soon.
Thank you to everyone who became a “follower” on our old blogger site. You may have noticed it’s all screwed up now on the old site! Chris found a way to transfer all of you to this site (sorry, we didn’t ask!)…could be bugs in it…not sure yet, still learning! We also now have a button on the bottom of the page so that you can subscribe to an RSS feed. Please keep joining the site though as I like to see people’s pictures all gathered in one spot!
We’ve managed to copy over the content of the old blog, including comments. There is comment moderation enabled but Chris will turn it off; we’ve never had anything offensive posted and moderation seems like an unnecessary step to us at this time.
You’ll see the photos change in the next few months too. The girls feel the sting of being left out along the left of the site (especially since Josie, our dog, made the cut!) and we will take better pictures of the little lambs this spring to add to it. As construction of the house progresses, hopefully a few pictures of our progress will sneak into the main photos over time. Kudos to Curt who had a limited supply of photos to choose from!
We hope to also have several guest bloggers over the coming months as we have connected with some really interesting builders and families (sometimes one and the same) over the first year of our house project.
Please stay with us and make lots of comments…join the site!
